ISO/TS 16949 Lead Auditor Re-certification Training
For First and Second Party Auditors
Who should attend?
The course is designed for delegates who are experienced in undertaking internal or supplier audits, and who have attended the Lead Auditor Training (Previously titled Supplier Auditor Certification cours)
Note: It is recommended that delegates attend this course within three years of attending the original course.
What are the objectives?
The course will focus on planning, undertaking, reporting and closing out findings from internal audits against the requirements of ISO/TS 16949, particularly in non-production areas, focused on the process approach to auditing.Topics Covered?
- An ISO/TS 16949 update, including Rules for Achieving IATF recognition
- The automotive process approach, including process sequence and interactions and process measurement
- Auditing customer specific requirments within the process approach
- The process approach to auditing in non-production areas
- Undertaking audits using case studies
- Application Exam
The course includes interactive exercises and case studies.
What certification do I receive?
Candidates passing the stringent written application exam will receive a certification from SMMT, the IATF approved oversight office in the UKUw workshopleider
Paul HARDIMAN is a qualified mechanical engineer. After 14 years experience with the TI Group and The Welding Institute, Paul joined BSI and became involved with auditing Quality Management Systems to ISO9001. During a secondment to the USA, Paul was actively involved in the development of the QS-9000 Automotive Industry Quality System Requirements.
Paul is now Manager, Global Systems with SMMT Industry Forum and is actively involved with the new global quality requirements for the automotive Industry ISO/TS16949, providing companies with training and consultancy support. SMMT are also the sole UK supplier of training for certification body auditors.
